Street Lace

The expression «Street Lace» may come from the fact that lacemakers worked in the doorway of their homes, virtually in the street.
This name does not apply today, since lacemaking has long since vanished from the doorstep. Moreover, street lace also refers to the most popular lace ordered from lace trading companies.
