This letter, dated November 24, 1967, is a response from Governor Dan K. Moore to Mrs. W. M. King of Greensboro. King had originally written Moore on November 18, 1967, complaining about the controversial Black Power Forum held at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) November 1-3, 1967, and about the hiring of controversial activist Howard Fuller at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). Moore thanks Hill for expressing her views and says that he forward her letter to UNCG Chancellor James Sharbrough Ferguson, UNC Chancellor J. Carlyle Sitterson, and system president William Friday.
