This snake has 377 vertebrae. By comparison, humans only have 32 to 34, and some frogs only have six vertebrae. With a length of up to six meters, the Reticulated Python is among the world’s largest snakes. Similar to the South American Anaconda, it is closely tied to aquatic habitats. Pythons occupy wet rainforests and swamps, but they can also be found in agriculturally used areas and even in the larger cities of Southeast Asia.
