Rhinoceros Horn Cup with Panchi Patterns

It is a red brown cup with an oval petal shape like a horn, a wide rim, and a fake ring foot. The rim is decorated with a circle of fret patterns;  the inner and outer walls near the rim are decorated with lightning patterns and the ear is decorated with two Chi ( beast in Chineseancient legend); the opposite side to the ear is decorated with vertical ridges on cloud patterns; the front side is decorated with petal patterns and fret patterns and so on. The cup consists of the upper, the middle, and the lower parts. The upper part has petal patterns decorated with a Qiu Dragon standing sideways on each side of the cup; the middle part has bird and beast patterns on eight circles of carved small fret patterns; and the lower part has four Chi with lifting feet and curving tails staring at each other in pairs. The seal character ”Xi" on the outside of the cup might be the name of the artisan.
