The line under construction between King William Street and Elephant & Castle is marked with a solid red line, red squares are used to indicate the sites of stations. On this map Borough Station is called Borough High Street & Dover Street Station. The route of the subway has been printed onto a black and white detailed street map of the area, this map includes, the River Thames, street names, places of interest and the routes of main line railways. The District and Metropolitan Railway lines are included on this map as thick black lines with squares used to represent stations. Tramway routes, south of the river are marked with thin red lines. The reference key and map title is at the top of this map and the reverse is blank.
