Increasingly over the past several decades, the classic yellow rubber duck has morphed from being a simple toddler squeak toy to functioning in other playful ways. Collectible rubber ducks represent celebrities and professions for adult collectors, for instance. And this Potty Duck comes with the slogan "Fill. Squirt. Learn." to demonstrate its usefulness as a toilet-training device for small children. Designed to be used for water play in a bathtub, the accompanying brochure explains, "Potty Duck uses sight, sound, and touch to make potty training fun. Children learn by squeezing the rubber duck to make it 'pee' into the toy toilet." There's even a blue button on top of the toilet's tank that flushes the toilet.
