At the heart of the OE 333, introduced in 1926, was the 3NF multiple tube. The tube comprised of 3 tube systems, 2 capacitors, and 4 resistors in a glass bulb. Today, this would be called an integrated circuit. The device was very cheap at 39.50 RM. Different frequencies could be received by exchanging the coils.
