At the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, trainers monitor a simulation run by Expedition 38/39 Soyuz Commander Mikhail Tyurin, NASA Flight Engineer Rick Mastracchio and Flight Engineer Koichi Wakata of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency Oct. 17, 2013. The simulation was part of the final qualifications exams for the crew, which is scheduled to launch on Nov. 7, local time, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on the Soyuz TMA-11M spacecraft for a six-month mission on the International Space Station.
