Holy Catherina of Alexendria, polychrome stone statue (XVth century)

Only two statues like this one do exist, sculped by a "Touraine" sculptor called Michel Colombe, living during the reigns of Charles the VIIIth and Louis the XIIth (1430-1515).
Amongst others of his works, is the tombstone of François IInd of Brittany and Marguerite de Foix, parents of Anne de Bretagne. This tombstone lies in the Nantes Cathedral.
