Saluting Babe Ruth

A group of boys salute an American flag in honor of Babe Ruth. This image ran in the Evening Outlook on August 20th with the caption: "At about the same time that baseball's immortal Babe Ruth was being laid to rest in New York yesterday, an Evening Outlook photographer caught the above scene of five Santa Monica youths paying their last respects to the home run king.
