Johan Inger has set 'Sammanfall' to music by Henryk Górecki and Wojciech Kilar. The scene is set by a broad, slanting white line on the backdrop, set at right angles to an equally broad diagonal beam of light on the floor, and an eye that looms high up on the backdrop, following the action below. Through this set, four men and three women move in sombre russet costumes. Short solos suggest powerless isolation; a single duet links fragile tenderness with conflicting passions, while the apparent anonymity in the group sections seems comforting.
