Sandook are made of locally available hardwood like sal, teak, neem, rosewood and tali wood. This sandook was made out of neem wood and is believed to be around eighty years old. It belonged to the eldest woman of the family and contained valuables, clothes and blankets. The sandook was locked and the keys remained with the woman only.
