In 'Sans Réponse' Patrick Delcroix used plastic vats, which originally contained water for the dancers to drink in between rehearsals, and which lined the dressing room hallways decoratively. The empty vats inspired Delcroix for the NDT choreography workshop in February 1995. He used them as acoustic instruments for the two dancers to play with. 'Sans Réponse' is a comical duet of differences, which was taken on the NDT 2 repertoire.
