This Camarasaurus tibia was discovered in the W.B.S. Quarry - part of a nearly complete skeleton. Every species of dinosaur has a unique shape and structure to its skeleton. By studying these unique characteristics, paleontologists can determine a dinosaur species based on only a few bones. If the bone cannot be identified, it might belong to a unknown type of dinosaur.
