Savuti Crossroads Diorama

Fieldwork for the African Hall dioramas was conducted in Botswana 1969 and 1974. This diorama was installed 1981. Background artist Duncan Spencer used techniques he learned as Scenic Art Director for Hollywood director Billy Wilder in the 1950's.
