Scene from a Fair at the Marketplace in Kazimierz

A work by Andrzej Heidrich, the creator of banknotes and numerous graphic designs. Using signs, the artist managed to present a fair at the marketplace in Kazimierz Dolny in a very interesting manner. The characters were depicted as silhouettes, filled with basic colours. In the distance, the painter included the Przybył Tenement, which confirms that the painting is set in this town on the Vistula river.
