A scene from the Bayeux Tapestry depicting the return of Harold Godwinson, Earl of Wessex by the soldiers of Guy I, Count of Ponthieu. The Count of Ponthieu's soldiers stand on horseback facing the soldiers of William, Duke of Normandy who are also on horseback. A border decorated with different types of animals runs along the top and bottom. Latin text above the scene reads "HAROLDUM AD WILGELMUM NORMANNORUM DUCEM HIC DUX WILGELM CUM HAR"
