Won by Rangers, who finished five points clear of second placed Airdrieonians at the summit of a 20-team top flight. This was the Ibrox club's 12th league title since their foundation in 1872. This medal was awarded to English centre-back Arthur Dixon, who made over 300 appearances for the club and later returned as a trainer under Bill Struth.
