A Moche mythological woman is represented in this sculptural ceramic bottle. She wears a long tunic, a headdress with two tassels, circular ear ornaments and necklace. The layout of her hair is in braids, characteristic hairstyle of Moche women. This woman has intertwined fangs, and holds two objects that identify her: a tassel and a scepter in the shape of a skein holder. En esta botella escultórica de cerámica se representa a una mujer mitológica Mochica. Ella viste una túnica larga, un tocado de cabeza con dos penachos laterales, orejeras circulares y collar. El arreglo de su cabello es en trenzas, característico peinado de las mujeres Mochica. Esta mujer mitológica presenta colmillos entrecruzados, y carga dos objetos que la identifican: una borla y un madejero-cetro. El madejero es un instrumento textil que la identifica, ya que esta mujer mitológica está simbólicamente asociada a la araña, tejedora. (UH)
