Sculpture

One of Africa's most prolific sculptors, John Odoch'Ameny of Uganda taught many of East Africa's leading sculptors while a sculptor in residence at African Heritage House in the '80s and early 90s. Although John often works in molten metal, his found object sculptures are famous for their whimsical complexity.
