Sea Shell Horn

This is a wind instrument made from a conch shell. The mouth hole is at the pointed-end of the conch shell. It produces a single tone, but the pitch varies by the size of the shell. During the late Joseon period, this horn instrument was incorporated for the Military Band, the royal marching band.
