Without Land / Senza Terra - Biennale Architettura 2016

A bench and a globe-shaped air balloon floating over it; for a planet without borders where the only identity is the human one.Alberto Fol, Executive Chef at The Westin Europa & Regina, and one of the promoting artists of “Without Land”, has created a menu which speaks of origins and paths, and is a message in a bottle which carries with it a promise for the future. A portion of proceeds from the sale of the menu will be donated to Opere Riunite Buon Pastore which, through Centro Darsena, is an implementing body of the Venice City Council’s Project Fontego/Sprar (System for the Protection of Asylum Seekers and Refugees). Centro Darsena is committed to welcoming and providing assistance to international protection seekers and holders through training and orientation activities that aim for the socio-economic integration of the individuals.
