Brown toned photograph depicting a team portrait of twenty-nine men seated and standing along the bench seats of a pavilion, with three large windows behind them. Some of the men are dressed in cricket attire, with white trousers, striped blazers and caps, with the remaining men dressed in suits. Affixed to the bottom of the photograph is a black strip of acrylic tape with TAYLOR GORDON BARRETT J. TRUMBLE type written on the label. The pencil inscription on the back reads, "VICTORIAN ELEVEN SYDNEY 1889 / WON BY VICTORIA / [in ink-] M. HALL BOX 362 GPO SYDNEY".
