A twisted abstraction in red, with black lines.
Is an abstract piece part of a main serie where the base is a spiral, each piece is painted with a different design. This piece is part of the collaboration UDLAP and Uriarte Talavera in 1999 called “Talavera Contemporanea”.
The red and brown follows the spiral direction of the sculpture been the red one like a snake tangling, like if it were mutating the sculpture to a glazed red.
Gerda Gruber is an sculptor important in the movement of Contemporary clay sculpture in Mexico. She arrives to Mexico in 1975. In Gruber’s work abstract forms.
