She is being focus at the study of portraiture and self-portraiture. Questioning the traditional way of representating identity in this genre, using an impersonal approach she experiments with the formal aspects use to portray a person. She is well known for her series of self-portraits in the 1990’s.
Serie “Hombres pintados” from 2000, is a twist in her art production that now focuses on the other. For its realization she painted in the body of his model and then took close-up photographs from some parts of his body.
We are able to see the brush in the fingers.
