It depicts five men doing the extraction and processing of rubber in a foreSaintIn the foreground, near the lower edge of the support, three rubber pellets scattered on the floor; on the left, man standing with his back, and in front of a tree, on the right, arm raised and bent at the elbow holding in his hand an instrument like which suggests be making an incision in the trunk of the tree, use pants and short-sleeved shirt and is barefoot; on the right, dark dog, small, lying in profile to the left, to the right another ball of rubber on the ground. In the background, on the left, man standing in profile to the left, with raised arms head-carrying a burden and wearing pants rolled up below the knees; on the right, man standing facing forward with 3/4 head turned to the left, using rolled up pants below the knees; he holds in his hands horizontally a long stick suggesting that he is warming up a pellet attached to the stick end, which is covered by smoke coming from a sort of dark jar of an almost triangular shape on the ground. In the third plane, on the right of center, repetition of the foreground picture. Forest background, part of the tree trunks symmetrically distributed can be see; looking to the right, again there is the repetition of the figure in the foreground, as long with several rubber pellets stacked.
