Minted in Tarraco, the reverse shows the octastyle temple in the city dedicated to Augustus, who is depicted on the obverse in a seated position.
The temple had been built in Tarraco in honour of Augustus, the first emperor, who resided in the city between 27 and 25 BC. The coin issue, minted in the third decade of the 1st century AD, is a homage from Tiberius to his predecessor.

Reverse: AETERNITATIS AVGVSTAE C.V.T.T.; the octastyle temple.
