Transporting coal to the Shaft IV at the Heinitz pit near Neunkirchen. The high smoking chimneys dominated the silhouette of the Saarland landscape. Trains at the pit station travelled towards Bexbach from 1850 where they were transported from the Palatine Ludwig railway to southern Germany.
