Sinking of a new shaft of the Göttelborn pit on 11 November 1991. The word "Teufe" is used by German miners to refer to the depth of a shaft. The verb "Abteufen" refers to the sinking of vertical shafts. This image shows the conveyor container used by the miners and the so-called sinking bucket ("Abteufkübel").
