Sudan handle with a trade blade from Persia. The handle is an unknown animal skin which at the end is a claw. The scales are dark brown, and although the claw is composed of three talons, only two have nails, the third being clawless and smaller than the other two. This skin is sewn together over the handle. The crossguard is very thin, its side beam and the frontal spike all protruding one and a quarter inches from the grip. The blade is twenty seven and a half inches long with a steep curve. Both sides are covered in writing.
