1830s. Suman Shenoi 6/95. There is a lot of movement and banding while being minimally pieced. The borders appear to have made is Sealkote - a town in India tha specialized in this type of heavy border. It is a remarkable design as opposed to quality of weaving. It is a great shawl. The back really shows its true lively colors. A. Cooper 10/95.
