A lighthearted wartime mock-gospel song, "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive" was quite a hit for composer Harold Arlen and lyricist Johnny Mercer. The song accompanied the 1944 movie "Here Come the Waves," starring Bing Crosby, Betty Hutton, and Sonny Tufts. Crosby and several others had radio hits with the song over the years. The red, white and blue cover design is fairly typical of World War II vintage sheet music, as is the patriotic and positive theme.
