Shells spoons used as spoons by everybody for eating. Malalulu women (Mothers) scrape the outside of the shell down to the mother-of pearl. The shells are collected from swamp areas , something like ox- bow lakes. The contents of the shell are probably eaten before the shell itself is converted into a spoon. Used by others from the Mijikenda community.
