Green and salmon damask silk shoes with floral decoration. The upper is high and the toe extremely pointy and pronounced. It closes on a tongue in a scalloped shape and very small wings sewn onto each other. The heel is very high and, together with the sole, is made of leather. They are lined with white, backstitched leather. The women's shoes of the Rococo period were characterised for their high heels, positioned at the arch of the foot to ensure more stability. During the 18th century there was no difference between the width or form of the left and right shoes.
