1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air Convertible Sedan was America’s most popular car of the year and one of the coveted classic cars of all times around the world. Chevrolet Bel-Air model appeared under the Chevrolet brand name during 1950's. It prominently featured quarter panel side appear. The body style was distinguishable by a wide chrome strip molding that ran from rear fender bulge to the rear bumper. The interiors of the Bel-Air were more luxurious with lots of chrome, standardised carpeting and full wheel covers. The name ‘Bel-Air’ referred to a ritzy Los Angles enclave then renowned for its Hollywood luminaries. This model has featured in some of the famous Bollywood movies also.
