Symmetrical design, classic influence. Oval medallion containing a pair of affronted doves with laurel bough in mouths. At bottom of oval is simulated fringed, festooned drapery held in place by cords and tassels. At top of oval in either side is a pair of cornucopias filled with roses. It is inspired from a late 18th century design. The design is printed in deep red flock while the field is an old red strie finished in a dull glaze.
