Signing of the agreements relating to the site leased to CERN by the Government of the French Republic

Three agreements were signed on 13th September 1965. In order of time, the first was the lease granting CERN the use of the land, the second an agreement between the French and Swiss Governments concerning administrative and légal questions, and finally *lh e agreement between CERN and the Government of France, defining the légal status, on French territory, ofth e Organization and those who work for it.
