Silent Cranes, Sutherland Dock

"One of the most beautiful aspects of Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour is the visual contrast between the industrial scale and strict geometry of the dock (formed by cutting sandstone to form cliffs), the graceful cranes, and the clusters of workshops. This piece was drawn at the base of the island's cliff, next to Sutherland Dock" – Nick Hollo, former Head of Design & Planning and Deputy Executive Director with the Harbour Trust (July 2022).
