This sash is composed of a central samite panel with cloud and goose roundels on a white ground, and two long, wide extensions made of silk tabby. The samite panel is attached to the back. Khitan women wore wide sashes tied into a flower-like knot in front, while Khitan men wore leather belts of varying widths.
