‘Sleepwalker’ is about the state of flux in which we are never at rest,
ceaselessly moving from one state to another, physically and mentally.

We are in between states every moment and a perpetual ‘flow’ seems to be the nature of our lives.

‘Sleepwalker’ is an allusion to the human mind, which never stops seeing visuals, be it in a state of sleep or in a state of being awake.
‘Sleepwalker’ could be the visual journey of the state of sleep or it could be the visual journey of the state of being awake. It could be imagined, or it could be real.

We are all individual rivers, ceaselessly flowing from one place to another, from one state to another.

  • About the Photographer: I am a photographer living out of Chennai and I like to work on long term stories. I live in a constant state of doubt on whether what I see is real or imagined. Without reality there will be no dreams, without dreams there will be no reality. I believe I use photography to build the bridge of in-between states, between reality and dream. My photography springs out of the in-between state, the state of flux.
