The ceiling of the building is formed by large flaps which are opened and closed according to the intensity of the sun. Photovoltaics are responsible for the capture of solar energy that is subsequently converted into electrical energy for the building. The 5,492 solar panels generate up to 9% of the energy used daily by the Museum.
