Choreographer: Philip Taylor

In 'Sonate of Passion' Philip Taylor searches for the meaning of the word passion. The ballet is centered around the paradox between tension and compassion. Taylor considers the dancers personalities a key element of the communication between them and the audience. The ballet consisted of tree pas de deux’; Diane Matla and Philippe Blanchard, Joke Martin and Paul Lightfoot, and Elke Schepers and Jean Emile. In the ballet, each pair expresses passion in a different way.
