The central symbol represents the Virgin with the unicorn. Virginity and evangelical poverty are related to some mottoes and devices, all of them referable to a common topic: what men consider as foolishness, becomes greatness before God. This is a reference to consacrated coelibacy, as well as to monastical life, a privileged condition, provided it is lived in humility.
