The central emblem is an eagle staring at the sun, a symbol of man's spiritual principle leading him to God: as a matter of fact, it was believed that eagles could fly towards the sun and stare at it without getting blind. Thanks to God's wisdom, men can achieve some unhoped-for truths ("nihil imposibile credenti"). The privileged way to search God's wonders is reading arts, a study which should be reserved to the ones who can get benefits from it.
