The glasses Spectacles were designed by the Austrian designer Herbert Schweiger. They were produced in the 1960s as a limited edition in black and white and became an object of desire through advertising in numerous fashion magazines. Their clear, geometrical lines and the simple shape express the aesthetics of the designer. An important element of Austrian design history, they were included in the MAK Design Collection as part of the Design Now.Austria exhibition.
