Container used during Havdalah, a ceremony that ends the Shabbat and begins the following week. Spices are put into it and everyone smells it, suggesting that the new week will be a fragrant one, that is, endowed with good things. Donated in memory of Sarah and Zimon Leirner, parents of the donor, Adolpho Leirner. Silver object in the shape of a minaret. Cube-shaped container surmounted by a hollow cubic structure, with a tower, ornamented with filigree with floral motifs. At the top of the tower, a fixed sphere with a movable pennant. Four twisted posts in each corner join a central sphere and open again to form four feet, ornamented with filigree with floral motifs.
