The statuette depicts the goddess of love standing nude, with her weight on her left leg, and her right slightly flexed. She holds her right hand before her breasts and her left to cover her pubic area (the ‘Capitoline’ type that derives from Praxiteles' famous Aphrodite of Knidos). She turns her elaborately coiffed head to her left. Her hair is arranged with a bow knot on top, while at the front the locks are parted in the middle and rolled back in wings towards a low chignon. A long curl hangs down on each shoulder. Her ears have holes for earrings and the eyes were once inlaid. She stands atop a low, spool-shaped base.
