Sometimes children, the folks who use toys, imagine new examples or adaptations. At nine years old, Greyson MacLean dreamt of a simple modification for his beloved construction bricks, such as Lego, and his mom helped him manufacture them. His idea was stickers, held on with static electricity, which modify and add personality to otherwise static bricks, but do not permanently harm them. Brickstix grew steadily in popularity and Disney Magazine featured them as a "favorite thing." The toys are sold in major stores nationwide. Greyson himself won Young Inventor of the Year in the 2011 TAGIE awards
