Structure Study I shows explores crumpled nature disrupting the idea of any concrete definitions. In the piece, the performer interprets scores made up of combinations of pie charts and line charts while playing plastic flutes. Such acts of blowing melted recorder flutes and PVC pipes are related to the artist’s early childhood memories, while the objects still fulfill their purpose as musical instruments.
