STS-112 Preflight Emergency Egress Training

JSC2002-00876 (24 April 2002) --- Cosmonaut Fyodor N. Yurchikhin, STS-112 mission specialist, is briefed by United Space Alliance (USA) crew trainer Bob Behrendsen on the usage of the Sky-genie, used to lower oneself from a troubled shuttle. The briefing came during a training session in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Yurchikhin, who represents Rosaviakosmos, is wearing a training version of the shuttle launch and entry suit.
